Laidoff hotel workers appeal to Richmond council for boycott

A federal deal to quarantine travellers was terminated at Pacific Gateway Resort in January.

Laid-off Richmond resort employees are inquiring city council for a boycott of city organization at the Pacific Gateway Lodge.

Kai Sharpe, an organizer with the hotel’s union, UNITE Listed here nearby 40, will be talking to city council on Monday inquiring the town not choose section or maintain any events at the lodge until eventually the laid-off employees are reinstated and the labour dispute is fixed.
